1979 Mercury V175 weak spark, won't start

I have a mercury v175 that has really weak spark and will not start. If I pull the plugs and then roll the engine over spark becomes alot stronger. The engine has a new starter, stator, trigger, 2 new switch boxes and a new 1000 MCA cranking battery. I have tried disconnecting the kill circuit from the switch boxes and disconnecting the stator leads from the rectifier to see if that changed anything, but still the same problem. Anyone have any other suggestions? Thank you.

To me it indicates slow cranking speed.----I would not spend money for all these parts.-------You likely have many good spares now.-----Have the new battery load tested.-----Inspect your on board battery cables.-----Perhaps use good booster cables to test cranking.-------I would take the new starter apart for an inspection.------Is it a factory replacement starter or some other brand.

Is the battery cables getting hot when cranking??? Put the correct thickness stator on ? To thick and it can drag on flywheel. Correct tooth Bendix?
