1979 mercury 70 hp 3 cylinder still bogs

Once again having the same issue starts right up an idles fine throttle it up an just bogs out an won't take off I've changed all the electronic parts except the trigger witch had a broken wire I spliced it back together my ? Is could a bad trigger make the motor bog like that

Some simple testing is required.--------The first is a compression test.-------Then check for spark.----Spark must jump a gap of 3/8" or more on all 3 leads.---------Then use a timing light on take off and see how spark behaves on each lead.

Checked spark no spark on top cylinder changed the coil an still no spark

Thinking it has to be the trigger since I've also changed the switch box

That the common/bia's wire...replace/repair trigger and switchbox.

Got my trigger today I no where the brown ,white ,an vile go but there is no white with black line it's all back does that go where it says white/black

New ones are solid black,it goes on white/blk terminal. The switchbox may start firing the missing cylinder but kinda doubt it...
