1974 omc distributor diagram wiring help

I am not sure what you mean by a distributer diagram, but I have a wiring of my 1976 Ford 302, which is essentially the same engine as the 351, which has longer cylinders and rods. I switched my distributer to a Pertronix electronic ignition. The firing order is different on the 351, which is 13726548, and 15426378 on a standard 302. You may notice the 37 and the 54 are reversed, so will still run on 4 cylinders if you put in the wrong cam, but you just have to change 4 distributer plugs.

You can use the 351 firing order on your 302. That's what makes the difference between a regular 302 and an "HO" 302. 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8

From the web:
The revised firing order was needed to prevent inductive crossfire burning a hole through the center of number four piston. This would happen under load if the spark plug wires were not routed correctly on the right bank.

So keep the wires well separated ha ha.
