1972 mercury 650 motor tilt/trim problem

I just had my tilt trim unit motor rebuilt and when I put it all back together, all I get is the motor running, but the pump doesn't seem to be working. The motor won't move when I hit the switch. Can anyone give me some help on this issue please?

Some of those early trims had a coupler between armature shaft and pump, if its has it it could have fell off when reinstalling motor. Also do the simple stuff first like checking oil level an reverse knob
