1972 115 water in #3 cylinder

Just bought engine it was sitting for a few years after getting new gaskets, fired it up and ran great for about 45 minutes in the driveway, took to water a few days later and the carbs were giving me trouble so cleaned them up and working good now , but when I fired it in the driveway I could tell it was not firing on all cylinders , pulled the plugs and #3 and 4 cylinder had grey liquid on then # 4 seemed to clear up but 3 is still getting water. From what I have read It could be the exhaust gaskets ? Is there anything else I should be checking ?

Could be inner divider plate...be careful and remove these bolts by hand as they are epoxied in place and a air gun will sometimes pull the threads..

Exhaust baffle plate is corroded- remove the exhaust cover and have a look.

Be really careful removing all those exhaust plate bolts--they can snap off easily. My most successful method is to use an impact gun on a dead low setting--let it hammer away, sometimes for a minute, to loosen 'em up. Use too much torque and they snap right off. Other methods are to heat the bolt cherry red with an acetylene torch, then rap it with a hammer (and let it cool before removal).

is it the outer cover that the bolts are tough to remove or the actual divider under the covers ?
