The motor will start then shut off. I tested compression and it is good. I did all the regular fuel line testing. I rebuilt the fuel pump, and still the same issue. I tested for spark by laying the spark plug up against the head. The spark seemed strong. I made a spark gap tested and set it to 7/16 and was not able to get any spark, so I backed the gap down to 3/8 and was able to get spark. The motor fired and shut off. then now spark at all. It seem like it has spark and then none. I can consistently do this test with the same results. If I get spark the motor will start and then shut off, and then now spark. If I wait a few minute it will spark again and start then same thing. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
