    blowing 20 amp fuse

    3.5L Mercruiser alfa 1. After finding this boat had a 20 amp fuse powering the ignition switch the motor started and ran for approximately 15 minutes and stopped. Found the fuse had blown again so have to find more fuses. Any ideas why this might turn up?

    cracked manifold but don't think it froze

    5.7L alfa 1 1997 stab manifold leaking and runs a little hotter than the other, 170 on gauge, but no water in oil yet. Thinking it might be prudent to replace both. Motor ser# OK023279.     Bought a 1997 Proline Alfa 1 which has a "Mcgard" propeller lock. Of course, the key wasn't included. Is there anything short of a grinder that may remove the nut? Thought someone might have encountered this. thanks
