    need some advice, changed impellor and motor runs good pees good but won't go into gear, made sure it was in neutral to begin with so i know it is something i did on putting back together. thanks for input. marcel

    82 mercury 70 not getting gas

    Ser. 6163931, 1982 3cyl-2 carbs. Bought this boat and have been chasing down shorts, finally get blue fire on all 3 cyl. No gas to carb. Removed line going to pump got gas, gas not going thru, took off said pump and cleaned the two jets or orfices inside. What runs this pump? Not elec. Or...
