    2000 johnson j40plssm vro delete

    there are lots of videos ect on the physical delete of the vro pump. what steps do i need to follow to eliminate the chimes. Can i just unplug all the vro and oil tank harnesses from the motor? The oem fuel pump seems a bit high, are any of the aftermarket ones worth using?

    Slack in Steering

    I have 2000 40hp that i bought new on a lowe 170. its always been garage kept and has run perfectly. Its been setting for 6-7 years, I have replaced the water pump, the fuel bulb and hoses. Questions When I went to replace the inline fuel filter, it had 2 cycle oil in it, Possibly from 7 years...
