    Converging Ring?

    The prop on my 15 hp 4 stroke Evinrude has a converging ring. What is its purpose? After market props do not have the converging ring, so is it necessary when changing out props? Thanks.

    Previous owner lost the Owner& Previous owner lost the Owner's manual. Need info on crankcase volume and spark plug gap. The tiller handle electric start button is also missing. Anyplace I can pick up one? Thanks.
