    Another note, I can't flip the boat over so would have to epoxy with gravity working against me. Maybe tape and some pressure would be enough for a good bond...then sand and aluminum bottom paint the valley/channel?

    I've exposed and cleaned all the pitting. Was due to treated wood bunks from previous owner. This picture shows the worst of it.

    Just cleaned up some pitted spots on my hull. Dug out all the corrosion and it opened up a few holes. It's ready to fill but I don't know how to tig weld. I have some Marine-Tex epoxy and am tempted to just patch it up so I can go fishing. I don't know any welders and can't afford an expensive...

    CV25 2 stroke to CV30 conversion?

    Thanks. It looks like they're different even though they share the majority of parts. CV25 is 430cc and CV30 is 496. It looks like the single carb 25 changed to the smaller 430cc displacement in 1990. Go back to 1989 and the 25 has the same displacement and powerhead as the CV30.

    I have a CV25 2 stroke from the early 90s. It’s a 2 cylinder single carb and appears to be identical to the CV30. Wondering if there’s a restrictor somewhere I could remove to get a little bump in performance?

    I also need to adhere a new cowl seal. Read a lot of mixed opinions on this. I was thinking 5200 but have never used it to bond rubber to fiberglass.

    Yeah, propped for factory recs now. Side question, do you know where to find cables for steering, shifting, throttle for an M30A3 and also a NS40C? Only ever used tillers so trying to figure this out for a console. Thanks.

    I've read a few different manuals for 30hp 2 stroke Tohastu's and was wondering what the correct rpm range is at WOT for a M30A3 from the 90's. Older manuals say 4800-5500 rpm and newer say 5,150-5,850. I ask because I just put on a 10x12 Solas SS prop and am now around 5350 WOT. It's a big...
