CV25 2 stroke to CV30 conversion?

I have a CV25 2 stroke from the early 90s. It’s a 2 cylinder single carb and appears to be identical to the CV30. Wondering if there’s a restrictor somewhere I could remove to get a little bump in performance?

Open the CV25 parts book. Open the CV30 parts book. Side by side.

Inspect the parts used for any differences.

Remove the CV25 peculiar parts and install the CV30 peculiar parts.

Thanks. It looks like they're different even though they share the majority of parts. CV25 is 430cc and CV30 is 496. It looks like the single carb 25 changed to the smaller 430cc displacement in 1990. Go back to 1989 and the 25 has the same displacement and powerhead as the CV30.
