    Ok got to take my boat out the othere day all good at half throttle. When i open it up smokes like a 2 stroke. Only not oil smoke smells like sulfur kinda a black or dark gray smoke. I ran it hard thought it might clear out it didnt. Checked the oil when i was done did not burn a drop. Any thoughts

    got a 1978 merc 110 9.8 had it out in oct run it up on the trailer all good. took it out today started fine but will not go into gear. i pulled the lower unit and can move the **** link with no clicking at all. im thinking there was some water in the gear box is there a pin or any thing...

    my merc 9.8 runs rough at full throttle i just did a rebuild on the carb.. it runs great at half to 3/4 just gets realy nasty at full. how do i ajust the high idol

    got a 1978 110 9.8 i know the needle valve is sticking (but only when i need it to start the most) i want to replace the float when i replace the needle. how do i ajust the float? properly

    hello im new here and to small outboards. got a 1978 110 just put new plugs and wires all so pulled carb and cleaned replace carb gaskets , float , fuel pump and i still have a bad miss when i open up the throttle i did find the baffle plate gasket leaking a little later to day will this cause...
