    He just had things out looking around, its new to him and was seeing what all needed replacing. It did end up being what you said, once he took the propeller off it was all crumbled inside. Have a new one arriving Friday, thank you for your help!

    On a recent boating trip the motor started having issues. When accelerating the boat wouldn't advance very fast. Any ideas what this could be? Husband thinks maybe a spun prop bearing we arent very sure. We havent had it long.

    Thank you for all the input! We found the sticker with the model and serial number, unfortunately it had been painted over and we tried to get the paint off but it's just silver underneath. Husband now says it needs a hub assembly.
