Help with diagnosing a part for Johnson

My husband has a 91 we believe johnson tracker 25. It is having issues. Im just trying to help. Does anyone know if this part is good or bad?

When accelerating the boat wouldn't advance very fast. Spun prop bearing?

That appears fine .
Did the prop cushion / hub spin in the prop .
Provided it has one .
Change prop too test .

Good kmm. I wonder if it has ever hit a log, or underwater object? It does have a dampened hub, and some aftermarkets or repaired props can fail sooner. It also doesn't help as the exhaust and extra lubricating oil is coming in contact with that rubber composition and soaks and sofens if stored with oil on it.

In another thread it was determined that the prop hub was spun.-----First time boaters were confused on this one.

Ha! I noticed that now, but no confirmation from kmm? Seems that earlier Johnson/Evinrude without thru hub had failure with hub even more often, but I think that is due to age and less contact material. Prop shaft seal leak contributes to decomposition, particularly during storage.
