    2,4,&6 will jump a 3/8 gap but 1,3,&5 won’t but they show for on a timing light other than 3 but if you unplug 3 and 6 it kills the motor but the rest doesn’t all new parts are from cdi I unhooked the neutral switch, and it didn’t change nothing is there a way to test the switch other then...

    You can also pull the top four plug wires and it starts and runs the same with the plug wires off

    I’m going to check that switch but all the compression is 120 in all the cylinders. I’ll update you when I check the switch. Thanks for the input. The ignition parts was replaced because the timer base was bad and everyone I talk to said everything else will follow so it’s best to replace it...

    Hey guys, I’m having a problem with my outboard replaced all the ignition parts motor starts really easy and runs great on a water hose put it in the water put it in gear. Hit the throttle and it dies suggestions.
