    Engine bogging when throttle plate opens?!

    Clean Carb runs well for 10 seconds then choppy?!

    I have a 1971 18hp Evinrude and now when I start the motor it revs high and then stops all within 5 seconds. No matter if the low idle screw is between 3/4 and 2 rotations out. If it's outside that parameter it won't even start. Before it would at least idle, but pretty rough and on just one...
