    Well , I'll give it a shot..... Only know my old 2 stroke Evinrude, but, mine is controlled by the cable, no adjustment on the carb, done by loosening the clamp, and adjusting the thumb wheel , then reclamping, search youtube for your motor, see if it's on there. Only correct way, boat in water...

    I took "DJR's" advice and got me some of the "FSR" ......super pleased with how it worked almost like magic , some areas took a second application, but was amazed. Next year, end of season, maybe I'll do a before and after pictures.

    Fuel pickup from the tank

    Primer bulb maybe bad ? It has a one way check valve right ? Maybe that's not functioning properly ? There also can't be any air leaks inside the tank where the pick up tube meets the fitting, I solved my issue with a baby clamp inside there.

    That's a lot of nice new parts......but you did give me a clue, you said you may have missed some cleaning parts on the carbs ? Did you remove and clean out the main jets, located behind the drain screw plug at the bottom of the fuel bowls ? Remove carefully with a proper fitting screwdriver...

    Gotta do the new impeller, racerone will type ya through it. The rest sounds like my motor, before I pulled, cleaned, rebuilt the carbs with OE kits..... Now I smile every time I turn the key....... :)

    I say, "Curse that useless switch" It's like a software update, basically useless, but can cause a hidden major problem. Only a moron is gonna try to start the motor with the throttle wide open, ....oops, never mind, they have to idiot proof stuff huh,,,,,

    Thanks, looking for some more help first troubleshooting the gray sender wire from control box, how do I test that with my multimeter to know if I have a signal there ? And the tach with just 2 wires seems like not enough ? Yellow to gray sender, black to ground ? Or black to power ?
