    HOT YELLOW WIRES FROM CHARGING COIL 90hp

    I was just running my 93 90HP Mercury and I noticed the 2 yellow wires from the charging coil got noticibly hot. Too hot to touch. I did replace the bad rectifier with an aftermarket to fix A no charging situation. Could that be it ? Someone on here much smarter than I said not to and convert it...

    TACHOMETER HOOKUP 1993 75HP the

    I have this 75HP on my 22' pontoon boat. It has never had A tachometer and looking at the engine harness it goes directly into the throttle /shift assembly not under the dash. How do I tap into the ignition /CDI to hookup A tach ?

    75 HP 1993 water leak

    On my 93 Mercury 75HP when running it there is A housing mounted on the head just to the left of #1+2 spark plugs that leaks water out of A small drilled hole. Looks like it could be an overheat relief hole but not sure . I have A manual on the way but just trying to get as many issues resolved...

    Thanks to the team on this site I found what I bought on the back of the 22' pontoon is A 1993 2 stroke 75HP . I've taken the carbs off and cleaned then and it's running like A charm.
