    1999 Yamaha F50 tilt pin question

    Hey all, Web searched and couldn't find an answer to this anywhere. I recently purchased a new to me 1999 Yamaha f50 tlrx outboard. It has power tilt/trim but the tilt limit pin is missing. Is this needed. Can I damage anything by trimming to far in without it? Thanks
