    1979 chrysler 6 hp no fire

    i have a 1979 chrysler 62hg 6 i have a 1979 chrysler 62hg 6 hp when i received it the coils were not attached they have 2 wires both are red i know one goes to points the other to ground ? i put new points and condencers in and set them to.20 i cant get it to fire possibel bad coils ? any help

    Mercury 4 hp 40 wireing problem

    i have a mercury 4 hp (40& i have a mercury 4 hp (40)outboard serial no 3158976 replaced white wire from contact does this go to positive or neg side also the green wire that goes in to stator and the other green wire goes to ground on stator pos or neg i know i should of took a picture kinsey
