    I had water in my lower unit and decide to change the seals. I damaged the carrier bearing while trying to pull the seals. Now the question is how do I extract the old bearing and install. I tried a socket and a hammer but it would not budge. The fear of damaging this was great. Any help...

    First post... Just purchased motor over the weekend. Mounted on my 14ft aluminum boat. Seems like it is sluggish coming out of the hole like it might be running on one cylinder then both kick in finally. Runs good when opened up and planed. Starts easily. Thinking it might need some...
