Twin suzi trim setting

Hi All, Hoping to find a solution to my problem, and that it's simple....

New boat to me and running twin 2023 140's, now I've set the trim up angle successfully following the manual however, setting the down angle has caused me to lose more hair than my mostly bald head can afford... The starboard engine down limit just will not change and comes up short of the stops by almost an inch. I have managed to get the port one set just fine.
One thing I have noticed it that when following the trim setting sequence the message only appears on the port guage set.
Is there something I am missing?

First off I have never had to set my trim and I have no experience with the gauges shown. I have read that the trim/tilt sensor can get bumped and screw up the limits you are trying to set. First off I’d compare both sensors alignment ensuring they are the same. I have read you have to tell the gauges via the menu which gauge is port and which is starboard, I think the reading I’ve done is referring to a single MFD not the two gauge setup that you have but it can’t hurt to check.

The above link is worth checking out, last I heard there is a problem with the forum and new members can’t join. Search for posts that “Moonlighter” has responded to, he is a wizard with Suzuki digital gauges. He is also a member on the Hull Truth boating forum, would be worth joining and posting your questions on the Suzuki Repower forum. He did mention he also joined a Bass Boat forum, which one I don’t know, maybe Google can find him?

Below is a picture from my 2009 DF90A service manual, not your engine but it should be similar.

Sorry I can’t be more help.

Thanks man. Yeah I ended up at this forum because the Suzuki one is kaput and I can’t join.
I’ve checked out the angle sensors and there is pretty much zero adjustment. Based on setting the upper limit I’m not sure there is an issue with the sensor.
My next thought was to disconnect engines and configure in a single set up and see if it will set.

2023 engines should have warranty. Visit/call your local Suzuki dealer or whoever set up the gauges, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

Can’t hurt, nothing to lose

Update after today's screwing around, at first I thought when setting trim up position it was setting both engines, I can confirm that it only sets Port side...
