Shift rod replacement

#1, make sure your shift shaft seals on the LU are in good shape, if not they will leak water in the LU. Now is the time to perform this service with the LU off and shift rod removed. The install the new rod, lube it with a little grease, insert through the shifter housing then thread it into the gear shift. You'll need to look up the correct rod height for your year of motor and length.
