    Honda upgrade 1997 to 2007?

    If I swap one out only one of my twin application 1997 BF90A with a 2007 BF90DKXRTA, do i only need to swap out the wire harness? Can I keep the key switch and gauges? In assume the hours on a 2007 are read from the ECU so one can't forge the amount of hours?
