    Velvet drive

    98 7.4 litre inboard velvet drive.Boat on the hard for a month.Went to remove props,rotated shaft 11/2 turns and it locked up.Then rotated back 1 turn did the same and would only move 1/4 turn either way then rotated freely each direction then a bit of a clunk again.All was well,no issues.Its in...

    Vibration

    Twin 454cu in inboards.While underway should there be any vibration?How do you gauge a little versus a lot.I have read where some is normal,some is not,but what is some?I feel a bit,nothing shaking,or coming loose. Thanks DP1
