    Mercruiser 5.7 Hot Water Heater Hook up

    I am looking for a diagram that shows the correct location to tap off for a hot water heater (heat exchanger) on a Mercruiser 5.7 raw water cooled engine. I have seen a few different hook ups, but wondering which is correct. Anything in print on this? Thank you

    Installing a transom assy/gimbal housing

    I hear different ideas on the right way to install a Mercruiser Alpha 1 gen 2 transom assy. One manual says it seas just with the gasket and no sealer. Another says to use Boat Life caulking. A mechanic told me 5200! ( I hope I never need to get it off!) What is the real answer. Thanks

    Hi, I am re-powering my 1983 Sea Ray weekender, it has a merc 260, alpha 1(gen1). I am putting in a 1998 FW, 5.7 Alpha 1 gen1 (2bbl)"take out". I have everything from the boat that the engine came from, wire harness, trim pump, steering, instrument panel. throtle/shifter cables... I am swaping...
