    Replacing Risers and Elbows after winterized?

    I want to replace my risers and manifolds this winter after winterizing the motors. They are FWC 1988 454s. How much of the antifreeze sits in these and will I lose if I remove them? Also what shoudl I look for to determine if I shoudl replace the manifolds also? Thanks

    Penzoil or Rotella?

    Been using Penzoil straight 30w but heard good recommendations about Rotella and thinking about switching. Wondering what expreiences have been with Rotella? or are they all pretty much the same? Engines are Crusader 454 with about 1500 hrs.

    Whats the right fluid for Velvet drive? Its a 1988 - the book says "Dexron II, Type F Transmission Fluid". From research appears Dexron II and Type F are different. Whats the right one to use?

    How to check little filter at fuel inlet?

    Coolant question

    What would happen if coolant mix was not correct? Say too much coolant or too much water? Could that cause a higher temps? Also how can I check it without draining and refilling, are those coolant testers from the auto store any good that show the temp range are good to?
