    " I recently purchased a 1980 " I recently purchased a 1980 9.8 merc, I had the marina do the 100 hour service including a water pump before putting the motor on the boat, {as a kicker} The motor pumps very little water at idle, it just spits out if anything, at higher rpm's the stream is ok...
