    Was told that the seal leaks due to incorrect alignment of the shaft, causing side pressure on the seal. Has anyone run into this before??

    1987 34 searay sundancer,454 crusaders,borg warner velvet drive transmission v-drive. Leaking fluid from out put shaft seal. Does anyone know if you can replace the seal by removing the rear bearier cover instead of pulling the transmission out of the boat?

    i am going to replace my gauge i am going to replace my gauges and dash panels on my 1987 340 searay sundancer with 350 crusader engines.i tried to find the info on the searay web site but was unable.does anyone know if the gauges use senders or sensors.
