    Still leaking oil

Does the front of the pan have RTV between it and the gasket #7 (shown)? It must.. The marine pans are rough cast, maybe even sand casted, and will leak if you only rely on the dry gasket for sealing.

    Crusaders moving on

Well, my boat, house, fishing and some of my dive gear is on the market. I've moving to Rochester area. Anyway, my water life was pretty much dialed in down here, with a waterfront house and boat just 5 minutes from the warm ocean, and 10 minutes, living room to gulf stream. Also, the closest...

    Erie Canal anyone?

OK, the only tie-in here is that my boat has Crusaders, but my job may force a move. The intended target is Rochester area New York. Place of business very close to the Erie Canal, just East of the big city. I still have not yet even seen this canal. Do ships still use it? Is it...

    weird stuff at the boatyard

So, my boat is on the hard. Pretty quiet at this yard, likely due to the heat; it's been 95 deg, 90% humidity and little wind. A couple of events this week though. La Diva is being dissected a few stalls down from me. It (was) a 105 footer that burned up. A triple diesel, used to be owned by...
