    1985 OMC 3.0 steering

    I have a 1985 OMC 3.0. Had it out on the weekend and at slow speed it would not stay strait. Had to fight the steering well going slow. Once got it up on plane all was great. What do you think it is or where should I start looking. Thanks

    A buddy of mine has a 1987 4 cyl. with a Alpha 1 drive that pulls hard to port when going fast or slow. I have not seen the boat this is what he tells me. What do you think it could be making it do this ?

    My son took out last weekend for 2 or 3 hours. then back on trailer and home. He said things went great.     1985 omc 3.0

    Good Day All The tac in my boat went for a s-it. It shown low RPM but when you start going it jumps up to 4000 rpm and stays there till you back off. All wires are good. Could it be the tac it's self

    Would the cyl head be the same on a Merc 120 hp. ( 4 cyl GM ) and a 140 HP OMC ( 4 cyl GM ) A fellow at work has a 3.0 OMC with a cracked head. and I have a 120 hp Merc engine in a boat I had given to me.

    could use some help

    A fellow at work has a 1985 Mercruiser ( poor fellow ) He would like to change the oil in the outdrive. where would he find the high level plug ? I have not seen the boat. Can someone help this fellow out.
