    Not sure what your problem is but you take the 2pin connector (purple and gray wires), the gray wire is the one that goes to the - side of the coil. Basically all you do is cut this gray wire in the middle and attach the 2 parts to your diode fix as per the diagram.

    Re: installing new ujoints in my omc cobra You have to remove the drive to get access to the u-joints. When you remove the drive the splined drive shaft comes out with it. You will be removing the shaft at some point because it's the u-joints that attach it to the drive.
