Zincs on my E30ECRR?

I have a 1984 Evinrude 30 E30ECRR, ser. #F0368410. It pushes my 24' Harris Flotebote around a freshwater lake here in MI. I've had the boat for 4 years and never put zincs on the motor or the boat. Do I need 'em? Where on the boat/motor should they go?

In fresh water they do not use Zink, but Magnesium as anodes, if needed. On your engine, under the cav plate, but you will have to drill holes.
