88 Celebrity with GM 350 mated with a Mercury Alpha II outdrive. Power trim "up" and trailer "up" won't work. Replaced "up" solonoid. Will work fine when jumping across terminals on solonoid only. Took toggle switch off of throttle....jumped terminals on switch... "down" works by itself.and by jumping terminals...."up" won't work even by jumping terminals.

Go to the pump motor and check for voltage to the pump.

Three prong plug at pump make sure good connection. If thats ok then wiring from connector to shift control.

The Blue Wire circuit has a brake in it.
