I have a 1150 merc OB with a serial # 4239210. When I put in that info on this site looking for parts it tells me it cannot locate that number. Can someone verify that number and the year for me? I believe it should be a mid 70's. Thanks
 
????----Have you looked under the 1150 group of numbers ??---------That lists as a 1975 model.--------Most dealers insist on that serial number to find the parts.----------1150 was the designation for earlier 115 hp models !

Thanks for the help. I was just surprised when I put in the serial # and was told that it could not be located and to recheck the number. Probably something I did wrong. Thanks again
