"I really appreciate everyones help, I posted these #'s. M-85793s, s-jooo6528 but I recieved three different responses And they were 1977,1981,1996. I am trying to order some parts, But I do not know what to tell the parts dept. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks"

"The model number of 85793S, according to the official OMC Guide book, and also according to my memory is a 1977 85 hp Evinrude.

Just tell your local OMC dealership the model number. He shouild have the knowledge that 85793S is a 1977 model."
