Hoping I can get a bit of input on whether the Yanmar 1GM head is a possible replacement for the 1GM10. Looks like the 1GM10 was an upgrade in terms of displacement from the 1GM but it is unclear as to whether the head is the same. I don't have a FSM for either engine and hoping someone might be familiar. There is a 1GM for sale about an hour away but don't want to waste the seller's time. Buying a replacement head for the 1GM10 is a bit over $1,000 and not very palatable for me. Suggestions or good input would be appreciated.
