Hello,
I have a 1998 25MLHX3 2 cycle outboard. The shift rod has snapped just above the shift cam down in the lower unit.
Is it possible to get the remaining shift cam out of the lower without complete disassembly of the lower?
If not, can you recommend the speciality tools I will need to disassemble the lower gear case in order to extract the broken part?
