"My motor cranks and runs fine

"My motor cranks and runs fine, but when I turn the key to shut the motor off, it will not shut off immediately. It tries to run for a couple of seconds and then it will die out. Kill switch is not working either. Where should I look first."

Check for a bad ground wire fi

Check for a bad ground wire first - in fact check all the wire connections....
