Hi Guys i wonder if someone could help me ive the above Engine fitted on my boat and its not Charging ive checked the Rectifier part number (8084) this seems to be fine how do i check the voltage regulator part number (95845/4585) i understand this charging setup was fitted to the MERCURY/MARINER & the YAMAHA/MARINER range of outboards ive bench tested how i think is should be done but im not sure ive done it right what i did was to take off the regulator and place a 12v feed into one side terminal & out the other with a inline volt meter the other side of the meter went back to the (-0) terminal so there was 12v in BUT only 2.4 volts out is this right ? seems very low to me Regards Alain
