Hi.
I have a Yamaha F80 2007 model. I just bought it with an electrical fault. I thought i would bee able to read with the diagnosis but it does not give me any faults. The Ecu also kicks me out after 20-30 seconds. Then i need to turn the ignition off and then on, and i can have an diagnosis for 20-30 seconds again.
The engine ignites for about 1 second, but stops right away. If i give full throttle it will run for a bit longer.
I have checked that there is fuel to the injectors.
Sometimes during the diagnosis the buzzer on the control also beeped for some times.
Has anyone had the same problem before?
I am wondering if the ECU is defect? or maybe the regulator?
I can't find the answer on the internet or other forums.
