Yamaha F100D charging rate

Hi,

I know the Yamaha F100DET has a max charging output of 20amps, I am trying to find out at what RPM this is and also how many amps it will put out at idle?

The service manual lists two specs -

@1000 rpm 12 volts/12 amps

@6000 rpm 12 volts/20 amps

Between the high/low rpms the increase/decrease in amps is "not linear" (so maybe 19 amps at 5K and down to 14 at 4K etc), but at the minimum you can count on 12 amps...
