Howdy.
I bought a used '97 C25 from a local guy. It started right up and it ran like a champ. I checked the compression and it's balanced at 125 psi per cylinder. Took her home and decided to change the water pump, thermostat, fuel filter and plugs. I found out there was no thermostat installed - so I ordered one and installed the water pump and thermostat.
And now -
it will not pee until the thermostat opens and when it does it steams.
Changed the head gasket and I found small pieces of rubber (looked like impeller material) floating around the block - other than that it was clean as a bell with no corrosion.
I thought I had it but to no avail. I still have the same problem now I'm at a loss.
Any help would be appreciated.
