Yamaha 90 TLRD Warning horn

I ran low on oil the other day and the engine started running on two cylinders, which is what I gather is supposed to do. My warning horn did not sound and I would like to know how to check this to see if it is working at all. Thanks, Dave

check under dash for a round button horn

apply 12v to it and see if it works

I am wondering why justintime would not of suggested for you to ground the pink wire on the block from the thermo sensors with the key on. that is the safe and proper way we real certified marine technicians are taught at yamaha factory training

because if the horn is bad that pink wire will not work, LOL

got to work forward then back
