Yamaha 9.9, Handle broke off of the motor, ideas?

Wow that is some really bad damage. the guarantee is out of question i presume. Are you familiar with welding? If so i'd try to weld it, i'ts just a handle you should be able to find a replaceable cylinder part and just weld it in.
