Merry Christmas everyone.
I attempting to rebuild a f80/100 lower unit.
Having an issue getting the bottom drive shaft bearing in without damage. Service manual shows a tool that suggests the bearing is out in front of the top, about source suggests it’s pulled in from the bottom. Multiple attempts have resulted in knackered bearings.
Anyone done one of these and know the way to do it.
