Yamaha 60CE

Hi there - hope i'm tapping in to a world of knowledge - i am restoring an older boat with a yamaha outboard engine - type plate has disapered (rivets seems to have coroded), but from the boat papers i know that it is a 60CES - engine number is 000598, and looks to be in remarkable condition for the age. Anyone have any info or manuals or? I would be in need of service parts etc, so any info on where/how to get that for this - slightly - aged engine - any info apreciated - and bonus question - will it be covered by the manuals that Marine engine offers (84 onwards)

What markings do you see on the CDI assembly? On the carburetor? On the starter motor?

CDI: TIA 02-17 6F0-10, Starter motor: S114-221J / 073, Carb looks like 6F000 UU20, engine number is 000598, I added a few generell pictures as well from when we opened it for the fist time

Looks to be a 1983 model year motor. Yamaha USA did not offer outboard motors until 1984 so yours was distributed from somewhere else in the world.

Thanks - any idea where to get service manuals etc. ? and yes, as far as i know the engine started life in Switcherland now in Denmark
