Yamaha 5a help

Hi Guys, just bought a used 5A Yamaha air cooled motor and searching for a little help to get the engine running.
The engine has been sat and unused for over a year, but have been promised that the engine runs fine.
The only issue that has iv found is that the fuel bulb is loose in it's housing.
Please see photos attached.

The bulb is solid plastic - i guess just a visual aid to show that fuel is getting to the carb ? however fuel leaks from this housing, and after inspecting i have noticed that the mating surface of the bulb isn't exactly flush and level and isn't sealing fully against the housing with the rubber seal.

The photo shows the bulb surface, is this supposed to be perfectly flat ? if so, how can i repair this to prevent it leaking ? Gasket sealer ? a thicker rubber seal perhaps ?

The aluminium plate also does not press against the bulb to hold it secure, and so the bulb moves around.
Not sure if there is another seal missing or ??

1 last question, does the carb and float chamber ( part with the nipples ? ) look to be in order and able to run ? not sure if there are any tubes or lines missing from those nipples?

any help would be greatly appreciated guys ! itching to get on the water with my first inflatable boat!
