I have a Yamaha 250hp w/ a bus

I have a Yamaha 250hp w/ a busted ring on the #2 Piston. Should I replace all rings on all pistons? Any guesstimates on how long this'll take?
 
How many hours on the engine.

How many hours on the engine. Any damage to the #2 cylinder or piston? Any small metal pieces possibly floating around inside the motor/bearings? Any doubt in your mind and you should be thinking that while I have it apart I might as well......

"Its a 1986 V-6 special w/ around 1750 hours, any of the damage you mentioned could be possible. I just don't know if its worth going through the trouble of re-building, but can't come up w/ ~$9k for a used outboard or the $22k for new..,"

"Personally I would rebuild it properly with those hours on it. How long before a ring catches a port on another hole? Do you want to be off the water this summer fixing it yet again? Or bite the bullet now with your best/cheapest option and have a new/used and reliable engine for years to come? I can borrow money on my line of credit right now for 3%, is there a better time to do it right? You should be able to do a proper complete rebuild for around $3,000....cheap!"
